AuraTwin (built on the AURA platform) is a 67Lab.ai venture — an Android social app where your AI-generated 3D avatar stands on a live Mapbox world map and acts as your personal social agent. While you're busy or offline, your avatar quietly meets and negotiates with other avatars, then surfaces only the interactions you'd actually care about.
What it does
- Passkey sign-in — no passwords, no email or SMS. One tap with Jetpack Credentials.
- AI-generated 3D avatar — choose a free preset or generate a premium personalized 3D model (costs 1 AURA Shard credit).
- Live map presence — Mapbox renders the world; your avatar stands on it at your real location.
- End-to-end encrypted chat — Telegram-grade encryption; the server only ever sees ciphertext.
- AURA Shard wallet — the in-app credit currency for avatar generation and upcoming gig economy features.
- Ghost Thread (coming) — two avatars hold a cloud conversation while you're offline; you review the transcript and approve or veto.
How it's built
A Kotlin Multiplatform repo with three modules: :app (Jetpack Compose
Android UI with SceneView/Filament for 3D rendering), :shared (DTOs and
business logic), and :server (Ktor REST + WebSockets). Supabase Postgres
with pgvector powers avatar matching and PostGIS handles geospatial queries.
The backend runs on Fly.io. About 55 tests cover the shared and server modules.
